Makers: Women Who Make America

Today, we celebrate the 102nd International Women's Day, but it is not really a celebration. It is a reminder of how much women have struggled and fought for rights that should be ours the moment we are born, but we are denied them instantly the moment someone realizes we don't have a penis.
International Women's Day is a day to remember that there is still so much work to be done because the fact that we need a day to celebrate that we are women is only a way to mark that we are still different; and, therefore underserving. It is a play on intentions that seem good, but really aren't. We don't need a day to celebrate who we are while that very same fact is neglected the rest of the year.

  1. Great video. Thanks for acknowledging all that women had to go through in the past to get to where we are today!
