Trust is like a mirror. It can be put together if it is broken, but the image in it will never be the same. Some people we trust blindly and others we cannot even bear the thought of doing so. Disturbing. How are the standards set? How is the distinction made? It seems like trust is either there or not. It is not clear how it comes about. We cannot simply "make up" trust out of thin air for people we [think we] want to trust.
